Our Chapter will send 3 candidates to the conference to network with other EWB members, both professionals and students, attend interactive workshops and attend info sessions to gain valuable information that will help our chapter succeed!

All members are eligible, especially freshman and sophomore! This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the Engineers Without Borders Organization and become more involved!

 

Jazz For Tapagem Event at Orbis Caffe

Orbis Caffe on Rte. 19 in Mt. Lebanon hosted the Jazz Night benefiting the University of Pittsburgh Chapter of Engineers Without Borders Chapter. All proceeds will support the Tapagem project. The goal of the Tapagem project is to develop and implement a sustainable water treatment system in the Tapagem community. This community is located in the Amazon rainforest and is a 24 hour boat ride from the nearest city.

Guests enjoyed some fantastic music, delectable Brazilian dishes, and company at this sold out event! Special thanks to the Orbis Caffe staff for hosting this fabulous event, the band members for providing the entertainment. and attendees for making this night a great success.
